As always, please feel free to let us know which states you would like us to cover!!
Missouri
New York State. I am curious where everything outside NYC lands.
@@bjdon99 New York is getting worse I can't wait to get out you can't afford to live
He Definitely neva Eva been to any of theses cites
Louisiana please...was living in new Orleans for 6 years..love the city
I just moved to Raleigh from Nashville a month ago and what an upgrade Raleigh is. The metropolitan area goes back and fourth with Charlotte on who bigger (friendly competition). I live in Raleigh and work based out of Charlotte. Both cities are very nice.
That's quite a distance to travel.
He could be working remote
Hello, Bryant! I am thinking about moving to Raleigh from Texas. May I ask, what has your experience been like? I live in a small town about 50 miles south of Dallas.
Nashville TN or Nashville NC?
My cousin is in Winston Salem. She was just telling me how nice it was. I'm looking to move to North Carolina or Georgia. Great video thanks. New subscriber
I live in a golf community in the suburbs of Greensboro- it is a very safe area with many newer but expensive homes. There are many affordable suburban areas and some areas of the city to avoid at night, just like any city!
Those cities are not for middle class transplants. Those are towns for the rich and retired.
WOW, I guess whoever did this video have never spent to much time in these cities or only went to the upscale areas, they should visit Asheville and Wilmington , two of the best cities in North Carolina. Both cities have a lot to offer for people of every age, southeast NC is one of the fastest growing areas in the country and its not slowing down.
I have to agree. As soon as I read your comment, I stopped watching.
I totally agree with what you say. I have visited Asheville and it is beautiful, but we live about 5 minutes from Wilmington and absolutely love it here.
You should visit asheville
Yeah...i wouldnt wanna live in Durham...
Asheville is awful. High crime. Pollution. Traffic over priced. Homeless drug addicts. Very ghetto. My wife and I were hassled by 2 homeless men at night. It was terrifying. Wilmington is nice.
I lived in Raleigh NC for 6 years.I worked at the Prison Hospital. Loved living there.
I heard this a lot. What made you move out of NC?
@@stantoine_xperience everything is taxed.
@@marshachesbro5969 are the taxes Higher than most places? I wanted to move down there in the near future.
You should do a video of the smaller cities like China Grove and Landis.
I love this
The place I would love to move to is Eden NC!!!! I would have a bite at the Downtown Deli every day!!! I bet that prices will rise a lot because it is getting better known.
SHHHHHH ! 🤫
Hey! He did a good jpb, he was ranking cities not towns! There are tons of lovely towns just ask him to rank those,no need to be rude!😉
Beautiful beautiful I love North Carolina
I would substitute Asheville and Wilmington for Durham and Winston-Salem.
Love Raleigh ❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I don’t know where in Winston-Salem one can find an apartment for $800 / month.
So the five largest cities in NC are the best ones to live in? I might believe you more if you actually knew how to PRONOUNCE Forsyth County or Raleigh correctly. As people from around here are sometimes fond of saying: Y'all ain't FROM these parts, are ya? Next time, consider Cashiers, Asheville, Davidson, Chapel Hill, Pinehurst/Southern Pines, etc.
Yeah listing Greensboro as a top 5 place to live here made me lol
Omg and then they put Durham next ?? Hahaha
he sounded like a computerized voice lol. Plus he didnt mention Apex or Cary
He definitely said Raleigh right I’ve been here since I was born and I’ve heard nobody say it any different parents lived here since they were born and my grandparents so I’m almost positive he said it right 😂
I am determined to watch these top ten (well 5) vids until my city is on here
Someone needs to learn how pronounce Raleigh and Forsyth.
❤
Charlotte, to much CRIME, SHOOTINGS and CRIME is out of CONTROL.
Why is that?
It's really not if it is will be like Baltimore
I've live in 50 years and never felt unsafe
Durham? Yes, live there and you will hear your share of gunshots!
That what I'm talking about the real City
Wouldn’t live in Raleigh if you paid me.
Caswell County, NC
You've really just listed 3 places not 5. The RDU and Triad areas are metro areas with two of the cities above listed in each. If you're going to go for the actual local government entity/town that's best to live in in each metro area, then I know for Raleigh-Durham the best two are probably actually Chapel Hill and Cary. For the Triad, you could pick one of the other towns that circle them like Kernersville as well.
I'd add Ashville and either Boone or Wilmington as the other two for the actual top 5 list.
Another video based on public data. However, the average price on houses is way off! When was the data from. I wish I could find one of these whimsical average houses. In my neighborhood, houses that were going for $200-300K pre-pandemic are now going for $500-600+ K. Not unique to Raleigh but it changes the whole picture.
how would you rank Sanford NC
I wouldn't want to live there compared to Raleigh-Durham because there
isn't a lot going on. In Durham we have Apple, Amazon, Google and Meta moving in.
How many bedrooms are the rental prices based on??
1 BR
@@universaljustice7376 I rent rooms out of my house and I have seen a large increase in rental prices for rooms over the last 20 years. There has been a lot of upgrades in Durham. Also companies and jobs moving into the area.
I live in North Carolina And thats every big city he said which does not make sense Cary NC is the best.
He should update the prices to rent. Double the rates hes saying.
Good luck trying to find a decent house in Raleigh for 248K.
Strange you would choose 4 of the top 5 cities in NC with the highest per capita murder rate.
Um yeah the mountain B role you show is not in NC but more like Colorado lol
I guess you have never lived in Greensboro or Winston Salem. I am from Greensboro and I can't stand the thought of going there now. A black man pulled a gun out and pointed it at me and the wife while driving down Wendover ave. It has changed for the worse over the past few years. Thumbs Down here... Winston Salem is Crap as well. I have never liked W.S. simply because it a nasty place to live. Very poor living conditions there. Another thumbs down.... Crime is horrible in all the City's mentioned here. This guy has no idea what he's talking about
There's pros and cons about every city in NC. He's just saying that if you lived in the other cities in NC there would be more cons. Durham has been upgraded a lot since I moved here 20 years ago. The downtown area has been transformed a lot and the roads too.
I watched a video recently and it listed Greensboro and Durham as two of the worst cities in NC. Go figure.
I think I know what video you watched. But these cities in particular are two of the best and fastest growing cities in the nation.
Depends on where you live. My last apartment in Gboro got broken into and had shootings nightly. My new place a few.minutes away is soooo much better and safer. But it does cost more as well.
K-ville represent. Smack dab in the middle of WS and Greensboro. Mostly houses with families and elderly. Despite the few apartments and condos we have, everything is spaced so far apart.
Wherever you decide to move in North Carolina please don't bring your liberal Democratic policies which ruined the places you are running from
Greensboro and Durham are pretty bad winston too but like everything you will always find something good in a bad place
I bet you will have trouble buying a house at the prices in this video today?
This was not a list of the best places to live in North Carolina. It was a list of the biggest cities in North Carolina ranked from one to five.
I've lived in NC all my life and I would have to disagree with you. I wouldn't live in none of the 5. All 5 suck.
Where do you live or recommend?
@@rmbraziel I don't live in NC anymore but still have family there and go back as much as possible. Maybe one day I'll get to move back. I myself like the small towns ones that are close or even in the country. I love the country life. I grew up in a small city called Hickory. Its about 20-30 minutes from the mountains maybe 3 hours from the beach. If you love the ocean and don't mind tourist then Carolina Beach is another great place. Hickory ain't that far from the big cities. But that's my opinion.
@@jk_wrangler13 thank you! I appreciate you responding and providing some options.
@@rmbraziel no problem
"Forsith county" lol Don't know why you would recommend Durham. It's crime infested and has been for awhile.
I wouldn't live in any of these towns, ugh.
P Ashley neurologist Rocky Mount
I hate big cities so you're wrong
Where’s the thumbs down button when you need it
Maybe folks from N.C. are tired of the Corporate b.s. coming from upstate.
As someone who lives in Raleigh, this video is a joke
?
How do you rake Faytteville?
There’s no way Durham should be on this list!!!
@Wesley Buirkle There’s murder everywhere but it’s murder capital of NC…
@@jimsmith9546 It's also known as "the arm pit of the south" ....for good reason. I would NOT live in Durham.
Or Willmigton
Or Greensboro
@@RN-mn3jn That would be Fayetteville.
Durham??? Seriously? Apparently you haven't spent much time in North Carolina? You should have included Gastonia, LMAO!!
Coralina India is no better than Himachal Pradesh
This is hilariously inaccurate!
I live in North Carolina And thats every big city he said which does not make sense Cary NC is the best.
